Have you managed to have a look at it?
I am wondering if this will be one worth getting.
Autobiographies come in all flavours. I enjoyed Willie's book, & I really enjoyed Tanya Tucker's account of her life in music.
Some are less interesting.

It was OK. A very slim volume that skates across his life, with lots of encounters with famous folks, but not a great deal of detail. The story that made me smile most was where Asleep At The Wheel turned up to play a show that turned out to be a KKK convention. Turned out AATW were popular with Klan members, who didn't realise two of the members were Jewish and one an African American, due to the song "Take Me Back To Tulsa" because of the line about picking cotton, a line I notice they don't seem to sing now!
Not bad. It felt like a big book stuck inside a small one - maybe he'll write the rest one day!

Have you read the Willie autobiography, Kev?
I thought that was good in parts, but a little self indulgent!
I am just now reading Carole King's autobiography & finding that a really good read. Still in the early stages, but so far, one of the better music bios I've read. She has a good writing style & interesting insights. Not a Country bio, of course
