Googled the duet - "If You Ever Leave Me" - but I don't remember it.

YEPS! It got to number 26 in 1999. It was OK, not the best either of them has done.
I just noticed that vince also charted with Amy grant on "House of Love" in 1995. It got to #46

You were right. I hadn't noticed till I double checked. "House of Love" reached #46 in 1995

I quite loved his previous Mrs. The one who was one half of Sweethearts of the Rodeo who did some nice stuff in the late 80's??
Anyone else recall them. Sisters. I think they were Robinson, maiden names. I can't recall their first names

A American singer-songwriter refused to sell a song to Elvis, this after Col Tom had said they wouldn't pay royalties for a song that only Elvis could make a hit.
If you know the song then you'll know how wrong he was.
