Fortunately I dont work in advertising but I'd have thought that they work one financial year at a time.

Forget that. I've just realised that you mean their foreseeable future is one financial year ahead.

unfortunately advertising can be cooperate bull sh*t as we know and the secret to gaining it direct from the company is to present an attractive package in a business fashion......good business attracts good business.
brian.

I have attended quite a few American State Fairs and Country Music Festivals.
They attract multi major advertising. Just watch say Pro Bull Riding on Sky TV to see what I mean.

Fortunately for them, the Americans dont see advertising and marketing as dirty words. Some musicians even have college degrees in marketing and they reap the rewards thereof.

unfortunately many involved with British country music think that marketing means selling their wares on street markets.
brian.

However I know off two or three why do trade on street markets with a degree of success.

Yeah, there's a guy that comes to our town pretty regularly. Sets up a stall in the precinct with his CDs and a little PA. Next time I see him, I'll ask him how business is.

Is that a Fortunately or unfortunately LOM
brian.

A few years back I wrote for a club and music publication based in Manchester. The owner/editor also had a few record stalls on local markets.
He sold local, national and international recordings mainly Irish and Country and built up quite a good business. It was nice to walk around shopping to the familiar sounds too.
Same thing happens with the music shops in holiday resorts like Blackpool.
Fortunately as case of root marketing eh.

Unfortunately over the past week the story has gone cold. Its not my initiated tale so LOM do you think its time to close the book on this episode.

Who knows it might reappear at a later date using the same leader to a different story line.
