Songs that are factually incorrect.

I heard that nine million bicycles in Beijing song on the radio, and I thought this might make for a thread on the forum. List songs, that however good they may be, are nonetheless factually incorrect. Here's three to start with.

There are nine million bicycles in Beijing - Katie Melua

The sun aint gonna shine anymore - Walker brothers (it's a lovely sunny day here)

Thunder only happens when it's raining - the Corrs (usually, but not always)

Over to you now. Let's see how many you can come up with, and if I think of any more, I'll post them up too.

We built this city on rock 'n' roll. - starship
Call me old-fashioned, but I'd of thought that a network of utilities and concrete pile foundations would be better.

I always wondered why Johnny Cash was doing time in Folsom Prison when he shot a man in Reno...
Born in the 70s & in my mind, still living there now!
