Margo Price's second album, "All American Made" gets a 20th October release. It will include the recent single "Weakness" but not the other tracks on that EP released a few weeks back.

Yes, agree with the comments about Teea Goans as a person and her voice. I loved her debut and put the word out. There's hasn't been anything as good since and nothing gets close to "Letter From God". Got her second album but not the last one and will probably pass up on most of Swing, Shuffle, And Sway. It's a bit too traditional for me. Best track Track 5 "Just Because She Always Has" (brought to her in demo form by Jimmy Melton from group 45RPM a co-write with Amber Dotson). Written 15 years ago, Reba had it on hold but didn't record it. Others of note: ** Track 2 (I'd Be A) Legend in My Time (Don Gibson) Track 3 Heart over Mind Track 4 That's the Thing About Love worth a listen

SPOTIFY - https://open.spotify.com/album/4MQ1pO5SvqVYyZMRQI2Tbv
She has 35K Followers on Facebook but very few seem to have bought it. No appearance on Uk Country Top 200 iTunes and a one day US Country iTunes Debut at #197. Expect sales of 80 - 200 copies.
Sadly quality no longer rises to the top and if there are masses of traditional country fans out there where are are purchases. #SupportTraditionalCountry

Erin Enderlin - Whiskeytown Crier is another with no appearance on UK Country Top 200 iTunes despite 5 STARS Album of the Month in September's Country Music People. Lots of critical acclaim from the press and radio presenters (who blag FREE copies) but doesn't appear to be a reaction. It briefly peaked at #45 on US Country iTunes but didn't last a week on Top 200. Are fans just buying physical CDs direct from the artist?

ON THE OTHER HAND
Out 8 Sept 2017 Thomas Rhett's Life Changes is selling like hotcakes.
#1 ALL genres in America been top 3 in UK Country iTunes with a #1 debut (#11 overall UK Albums chart). Expect sales in America of 80,000+
Image
I find this kind of stuff totally BLAND and boring. Nothing on it appeals. What am I missing here :?:
One review said: "Quite honestly if you’ve never been a fan of Rhett’s, Life Changes isn’t going to change your mind and actually it’ll probably reinforce the reasons he’s not your cup of tea." = THAT's ME :!:
Keith Greentree BBC Radio Norfolk - "I LOVE it, 14 tracks and they are SUPERB"

Out 8 Sept 2017 Dustin Lynch - Current Mood
Another one, so disappointing with little relatable. 43 minutes of your life you'll never get back.
Image
SPOTIFY - https://open.spotify.com/album/23cuZhPWDfX1uKD4qwuv7t

Conclusion my association with Country music is wearing very thin. At least 80% of the modern stuff just isn't for me but loved by the C2C 6-Pak crowd.

My old mate Chuck Cusimano has sent me a copy of his new album, a massive 25 track compilation called, "Swingin' Through The Years". It's a collection of his western swing songs (all written by Chuck) and although I have many of these songs on other releases, it's nice to have collected in this way. Lots of fiddle, lots of steel guitar ... lovely stuff!

More NON COUNTRY fluff for you Moshe and Shania's even uploaded it on YouTube for you :!:

There was definitely lip-syncing on her Strictly Come Dancing appearance and where where the Shania sound-a-likes backing singers we heard?
Her performance at Hyde Park was just OK but at times the vocals look enhanced.
Young C2C fans saying she was "amazing". The trouble is for those of us who saw her at Wembley on the Come On Over Tour can remember and compare.

Does anything really great actually exist on her album NOW! It must have one of the longest pre-order rollouts in history. I expect big sales but a massive drop off in sales in week 2.

BRILLIANT new single from LEE ANN WOMACK, "HOLLYWOOD". This may just be the best thing she has ever done, and that is saying alot.
Her voice & singing control are as supreme as ever & this is a very good, unaffected song.
Won't get recognised by CMA, ACM or all that BS, but I can see Womack picking up a grammy if the rest of her next album is as good as this.
Brilliance. Womack bounces ahead of Margo Price in the great country stakes

Shania Twain's "NOW" album is released at the end of the month.
15 years since her last album, & she was never prolific.
But... 85 million albums sold? That is more than the rest of Nashville's supposed stars put together!
A veritable super duper star!

"Swingin' With Her eyes Closed"?

Garth's comeback didn't amount to much, maybe Shania's won't either in the current musical direction.

But both defined country music in the nineties and are legends.

Tom Russell has a new album out called "Folk Hotel". It has been described as a concept album centred on the famed Chelsea Hotel in New York City, but many of the songs are not directly connected to the hotel, though a few are, and to charachters associated with the Hotel.
I have listened to a few tracks so far & quite like it overall.
Here is a short promotional film ( 8 minutes) about the album by Tom Russell.

Of course Shania de-countrified UP! and offered International (non country) versions of Come On Over which made it sell big worldwide.

Don't really get the comment on Garth Brooks
In the UK Garth Brooks MAN AGAINST MACHINE sold 7,600 sales to debut at No.23. In America it sold 130,000 physical copies to debut at #1 Country
Last year Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood CHRISTMAS TOGETHER was a Country #1.
For the first time in 24 years, Garth held three positions in the top five of Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and before that it was Garth Brooks.
There were 3 different bundles and as a standalone album Brooks’ Gunslinger was a No. 4 Top Country Album.
Due to chart rules his "The Ultimate Collection" box set finally enters the Charts at #1 and had shifted 326k copies.
As he did that Ghost Tunes thing his digital sales were not reported. He's since scrapped that and done Amazon.com exclusives instead.

Whilst I was in Vegas I bought Toby Keiths latest compilation Bus Songs. The completest in me had to buy it, overpriced at $21, and I wonder at what point I will stop. The 2 brand new songs are utterly appalling. Wacky Baccy, and **** Golfer. I quite like his humourous songs but these are shocking. The others I have the originals on the albums, and it’s ok to have a few of them rerecorded. This purchase though, pointless, the release is pointless.

Want more proof that Willie Nelson ain't dead yet? Here's ANOTHER new album from him!!! "Willie Nelson and The Boys: Willie's Stash Vol 2" is out on October 20th. Featuring his sons Lukas and Micah (hence 'The Boys' I suppose), it's a covers album with 10 of the 12 songs being written by various Hanks!! Could be interesting!

Edit: first single from the album, "Mind Your Own Business", is up on Spotify. Pleasant enough but certainly not earth shattering!

Track List:

1. “Move It On Over” (Hank Williams)
2. “Mind Your Own Business” (Hank Williams)
3. “Healing Hands of Time” (Willie Nelson)
4. “Can I Sleep In Your Arms” (Hank Cochran)
5. “Send Me the Pillow You Dream On” (Hank Locklin)
6. “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” (Hank Williams Sr.)
7. “I’m Movin’ On” (Hank Snow)
8. “Your Cheatin’ Heart” (Hank Williams)
9. “My Tears Fall” (Alyssa Miller)
10. “Cold, Cold Heart” (Hank Williams)
11. “Mansion on the Hill” (Hank Williams and Fred Rose)
12. “Why Don’t You Love Me” (Hank Williams)

I also had a listen to this track, and agree with your assessment. Sometimes Willie seems to be prolific almost for the sake of it.
This album of covers may just be a fun side project with his boys. Proof that Willie has not lost his creative spark came earlier this year with his "God's Problem Child" album.
Willie is no slouch in releasing albums. Some artistes are a bit precious about it. Shania Twain took one and a half decades before "Now" is released whilst Guns N Roses took about 3 decades to release Chinese Democracy, one of their most forgetable albums.

It is what it is. Keith's latest album contains road-worthy songs with adult humor and self-explanatory titles!
A nice balance to offset the political correctness Democrat world.
Rum Is The Reason | Album: 35MPH Town (9 Oct. 2015) http://amzn.to/2eBxtlA / The Bus Songs (8 Sept 2017)
Just songs travelling on a bus with his mate, it is what it is, imagine a stag weekend some on the offensive spectrum with language colourful . "Rum Is The Reason" has a Jimmy Buffett vibe, good to dance to?

Thanks for the input. Now identified Up This Hill and Down & "One" was cut by George Jones & Tammy Wynette
just leaves 2 tracks which may be originals.

George Jones & Tammy Wynette
"One"
T: If you want to hear a love song I could sing one
T: If you wanna feel the fire we could build one
G: If you need to catch a rainbow we could chase one

Wilburn Brothers
Well it's up this hill and down and up this hill again
Up this hill and down and up this hill again
It's a mighty mighty long road what ain't got no end....

Just bought this CD so can update your review:
