Whilst UK country stations and media (Sony/ Sounds Like Nashville) are currently pushing Old Dominion and A Thousand Horses down our throats (apparently its cool to like these buzzworthy C2C acts) they seem oblivious to music released by UK artists.

We are told that what's great about the British Country scene is that the artists support one another and there is a community spirit.
When an artist releases new music I rarely see other artists on social media getting behind it and sharing links.
Perhaps they realize that they are all actually chasing the same fans in this UK country renaissance era where at best one person in every 200 buys country music.

Wolverhampton's Emma Swindells released her 5 track EP on 25 March and is looking for maximum impact with an Official EP Launch taking place tonight
on Friday April 1, 2016. Her EP has got as high as #162 on all genres on UK iTunes. One wonders how long it will take before it disappears with the vast majority of new Brit Acts into the iTunes ozone never to be seen again on the Top 200 Country places.

Find out more about her, give a listen, judge it for yourselves in this EP Blog Review.
