It was that every time I went to reply, it prompted me to login, although I was already logged in.

The Florida Georgia Line album is mostly mush, in spite of a 5 star review in Country Music Magazine.
What is happening at that magazine?

This years looks really very very good. Sadly committed to a different festival that weekend, live in hope Josh Turner will play a solo date outside of the weekend.

Re: The Greatest Country Albums Ever Made

So for me the greatest is Here In The Real World by Alan Jackson a real changer for me, and an album that I still play with regularity today. I think its my favourite all genre album and was pretty pivotal for me and country music. Aside from the bluegrass album which left me cold, he has done nothi...

Re: New Stuff 2019

I bought Clint Bradley's Western album Soul of The West this week. Its very much in the Marty Robbins tradition, no bad thing. Enjoyed it a lot and as a result I will track down his other western album. I have seen him live in his rockabilly guise, The Blue Cats and enjoyed them.

Re: C2C 2019

Thats a very poor lineup. I am not adverse to material by all on the main bill, but wouldnt really go and see the majority if they were on my doorstep. The smaller stages is amongst the worst I can recall. A glance indicates very little country and a whole lot of people who describe themselves as an...

Re: New Stuff 2019

First new album purchased this week and its Magnolia by Randy Houser. I had caught a few comments on Twitter about its quality and they were from people who I had a lot of time for so I hopped on Amazon and bought it. I have to say I was quite impressed by it. I have How Country Feels by Randy Hous...

Re: ALBUMS OF 2018

I really enjoyed the Sinatra tribute album from Willie, Kev. I thought the selection, although a little mainstream, was perfect for me. As for his take on My Way. Superb.

Re: ALBUMS OF 2018

I had a different Brent Cobb album album for Christmas, this years Providence Canyon. I bought and have been playing a lot its predecessor Shine On A Rainy Day, but havent enjoyed this new release. Too heavy on the southern rock for me.

Re: ALBUMS OF 2018

Its been ridiculously fallow for me with regards new music. I have listened to so much new to me music, but very little new this year. Out of this shallow pool, Pistol Annies and Dierks Bentleys new ones. In the new to me pile, a Brent Cobb album, a lot of Bobby Bare and a little more Bobby Bare.
